No sucking up here - just acknowledging those that post and own up to their positions when things don't go as predicted, vs. those that play 'twister', and try and claim they are the victims of being misquoted.

As for Chris Stewart - you wasted 2-3 pages of a few threads babbling about how playing Stewart "gave the Yankees a better chance to win" vs. playing Romine. So when you say a player gives a team "a better chance of winning if he plays vs. when he does not", you are thus indicating that he is a "difference-maker" (else why would you so adamantly and passionately want him in their vs. a kid who can only get better, vs. Stewart who predictably got worse as the season went on).

Most everyone here thinks Chris Stewart is garbage (even Stewart knows he sucks) and found your logic faulty, primarily because you focused on Chris Stewart and held him up as some sort of game-changer, as if his contribution in a game could possibly be measured positively and him being the difference in the team winning or losing. It's not possible - he barely counts, and served the part of a barely-warm body this season, pretty much turned ripe and cold by season's end.

Looking forward to the "twisting words", "that's not what I meant", "stick it in your ear", "you're a liar" (did I miss one?) reply. Anyway, have a great Thanksgiving.

I just think Texas is going to make a run, I have no proof, no articles to reference, just a gut feeling. The Cano camp keeps waiting for a market to develop, which was something I feel Boras was great at, more so than any other agent. All it will take is one bid to jack it up to 200+. The Yankees are all in, they don't know how to walk away. Vette mentioned earlier that we should sign Infante now. It would leverage Cano while providing a 3B option or super sub. I would love this move, potentially, the money they could "possibly save" by leveraging Cano could pay some or all of Infante salary.

...lmao...you're just getting pissy again because you've been caught in a flat out lie once again...and yeah, actually, you were sucking up, because after all, it's all you have left.

...now, are you going to actually back up your false claims or not?...didn't think so, and we know why, don't we?...I'm also amused you avoided addressing my other points, no surprise there.

...so lemme get this straight, if a team only has 2 catchers (Romine and Stewart, and they're both bad) and I say that between the two, Stewart gives the Yanx a "better chance of winning" than Romine (and he did, would you like me to post the stats AGAIN and embarrass you AGAIN?) in your alternate universe, it means I'm really saying that Stewart is a great catcher and a "difference maker"?...how exactly do you extrapolate that from what I actually said?

...and it was not "2-3 pages" it was a one page thread and it was very simple disscussion but you decided as you tend to do, to take a simple concept and statement and tell someone what the really mean...amazing powers of perception you have there. I tried to illustrate it to you in that thread and again in this thread. The Yanx had 2 catchers and like it or not, they had to play one of them and Stewart was the lesser of two evils. The discussion was clearly about whether or not Romine or Stewart should be starting during a playoff run. But here, let me embarrass you even further, here's the thread...enjoy; .

...so again, yes. you ARE a liar, sorry the actual truth hurts...and Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Princess.

Stewart was the "lesser of 2 evils". LOL! Like I said - only you would waste words making the case that playing Chris Stewart has redeeming value, and still be so dense thinking that playing a retread with no upside over giving time to a kid who might be part of the future in a non-playoff season - wow, just wow. Next you'll tell us that the Yankees "needed to play Stewart" to stay in the race. The fact that you even posted that completely makes my case.

We know you "like Stewart", but your "affection" for him is just a tad disturbing. If you keep it up, Kevin Long is gonna get awfully jealous missy.

...Non-playoff season"?...uhhh, at the time, the Yanx were very much in the playoff race...another swing and miss by you.

...and sorry, but Stewart did have a "redeeming value" over Romine at the time...Here, one more time just for you, Princess; (copied from the original thread)

Stewart CS% 30% (above league average) ...Romine 24% (below league average.

Stewart RF 8.89 (above league average) ...Romine 7.75 (below league average.

    Stewart CERA 3,76 ..................................Romine 4.30

    Stewart DWAR 1.0 ................................Romine 0.1

...Now, if you can dispute the facts with anything other than your big mouth, feel free to present it.

Already have - got you to add more 'jerk-off-on Chris Stewart' posts on this thread. You make my case even more, every time you defend your comments on Chris Stewart. Now there you go citing a .1 WAR, but trashed a guy like Gardner all year who had a WAR over 4. Yea, you're making a great case, but keep it up. What a "WAR guy" you have become? But only using it to defnd Chris Stewart. Can't wait for another 'Pro-Chris Stewart' post, only furthering your curious and disturbing fawning over him. Chris Stewart - LMFAO!

...Wow, you are in denial worse that ARod and his lawyers, yeah, you "CRUSHED IT"...can you dispute the facts/stats or not?...Instead of just claiming to have made a case and that I in ANY way, claimed that I "liked" Stewart" why not actually show some some proof? The answer is simple, you have none, because as I have shown I never said any such thing. He was simply a "better option than Romine", it's really that simple.
...I have countered every false claim you have made and presented actual proof with documented stats in this thread and the original thread that I never said the things you claimed, while have presented absolutely nothing but your big mouth...very compelling argument, chevette.
...you're claiming that I am just "now" and "all of a sudden" citing WAR...once gain you prove you only read what you want to read...as I clearly said when I posted those stats, they were "(copied from the original thread)". DEFENSIVE War was just one of the stats I used, what about the others?
...and why are you now bringing Gardner into a debate which is only comparing Stewart to Romine?...I bashed Gardner for being an unintelligent base runner/base stealer, not for his defense...but nice job trying to divert attention away from the real topic.

...what you refuse to get through your head is that it was NEVER about whether or not Chris Stewart was a great catcher or not or whether I "liked" him, it was a simple comparison of Stewart to Romine and which one should be starting. But there you went again by insisting that when I showed that Stewart was a "better option" (and he was), it really meant that I "liked" him or I was "jacking him off" or I was "fawning over him"...unbelievable, but predictable.

...using your pretzel logic, if I were to claim that Overbay was a "better option" than Wells it means I "like" Overbay?...and that I'm "jacking him of" and "fawning over him"?...again, amazing powers of perception you have.

...here's one more for you;...in games Romine started the Yanx were 20-23 (.465)...in games in which Stewart started they were 51-46 (.525). You have dismissed DEFENSIVE WAR and ignored the other stats I presented, will you try to also dismiss actual wins/losses/W%?

So, using your logic.....Chris Stewart = "Difference-Maker". You keep denying 'that's not what you mean", but admitting it every time you post in justifying playing Stewart, but are too dense to realize it.

    My work is done here.

...lmao...how predictable, make a false blanket statement then run away when you have been asked several times to provide some actual proof to your claims, and you won't and you can't and you know why, because it simply does not exist. I've also asked several times for you to produce something valid to counter my statements and stats...and again you fail miserably.
...find ONE instance of me referring to Stewart as a "difference maker" and I'll never post again...that was a term that was completely fabricated by you and you know it. Saying that Stewart was a better option than Romine was quite accurate and I proved it with facts. He was better offensively and defensively at the time than Romine and you cannot dispute that. But that in no way equates to me saying that Stewart is a top shelf catcher. I also asked you why Girardi should have been starting Romine instead who is an even worse catcher than Stewart during a playoff run in the middle August...again you declined.
...I also noticed that you conveniently side stepped my above question; "if I were to claim that Overbay was a "better option" than Wells it means I "like" Overbay?...and that I'm "jacking him of" and "fawning over him"?...or that I see him as a "difference maker"?..why won't you answer a simple question with a simple yes or no answer?...we both know why, don't we?

...and no, Chris Stewart does not ="Difference maker"(your words and your "logic")...Chris Stewart = "Better option than Romine"(my actual words at the time)...but you "are too dense to realize it."

...and yes, your "work is done here"...it was "done" after your first post.
