All the other major free agents in their prime that have had a choice and still signed with us agree with you

Being a hack doesn't mean it's untrue, or does it? The fact that it's even being put out there, albeit by a "hack", is nice no?

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, but that doesn't mean I'm going to use it to tell time.

For national guys? I think Adande is a pretty good writer - produces reasonable, enjoyable stuff. David Aldridge is good, Woj is an egomaniac, but he gets real scoops ... there's a few others I'm sure, but without looking, nobody immediately springs to mind.

I can't stand Whitlock or bayless or adande. Aldridge is too self assured. And woj can't write worth a shit IMO.

I like that Lowe guy on grantland maybe

Simmons isn't a reporter, but I think he's really knowledgeable about hoops and he's almost always entertaining.

LOL ya, Adade is a geek, and a complete LA homer. I don't mind guys like Simmons who are admittedly a fan of a team, but at least Simmons doesn't hide it. You know what you get when you read his stuff. Blazer fans are "soccer moms" because that is exactly how he feels now that his Celtics are in the tank. I know he empathizes to a degree because he was quite complimentary of Portland to start this season. Which is something I can't say for a huge majority of the rest of the National talking heads.

So Plaschke, who takes on local teams in LA and knew Lane Kiffin was a turd before any other writer in that market, is a "hack", but Adande, who is basically a cheerleader for the Lakers, isn't a "hack".

    Got it.
