It brings me great sadness to announce MGB (Michael Burke) passed away at 10:30 last night from Kidney failure. His wife Karla was with him along with his sister who made the drive from Boise and got to visit with him before he passed. For those of you on this board who knew him he was truly the "biggest" Blazer fan. He has been a friend of mine for 12 years and I will truly miss him.
If you would like to donate cash to help his wife out that would be much appreciated in lieu of flowers. She has a paypal account opened up just for this purpose.
I am working on some kind of memorial service with Karla that we will do sometime next year.

https://www.paypal.com/ The e-mail to use is kbabybutters@yahoo.com

Again, thank you so much to everyone for the thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear this. RIP indeed, Michael, from all of your fellow Rip City fans.

Really sorry to read this.

Denny, can we put a black band on the board somewhere? I think that would be a cool way to remember him.

Devastating news. My condolences to Mike and his extended family. My thoughts will be with you all during the holiday season.

What a great fan. Sad to see him go. Thanks for letting us all know.

Well, at least the Blazers' hot start hopefully gave him some joy at the end - condolences to those who knew him.

He had the honor of meeting MGB a few years back. What a true gentleman. He will be missed.
