4 points clear after putting down an in-form Southampton. It was a defensive clinic. Southampton were lucky when on two occasions Arsenal trickery hit woodwork instead of inside netting. Arsenal were lucky that Southampton goalkeeper Boruc temporarily lost his mind gifting Olivier Giroud the game winner before half time.
There is only one Aaron Ramsey. Terrific game today. We started brightly and established a first-half lead that has seen us through to victory in 23 straight games (!!!). Some great performances from our players, notably Mikel Arteta who looked better on the ball than he has in recent weeks and dug-in in place of Flamini; SZCZ who made the save of the season and looked poised and confident in goal; our back line who kept another clean sheet and conceded only one goal in all of November (which was supposed to be our toughest month); Ramsey and Ozil, who combined repeatedly and were a constant threat; and Cazorla who's dribbling and spinning in the mid field is about equal to Giroud's hold-up play up front.
Credit to the Cardiff fans today who grudgingly had to applaud Ramsey's double no-celebrations and were receptive to our Pat Rice chants.
Arsenal defeated Hull today to remain four points clear. TGSTEL scored early and might've added another. Was cheered off the pitch for the first time in... The league table is starting to look normal again with Chelski, City, and Liverpool within three points of each other. Everton surge into fifth with a late goal win over ManU.
