Well the Cavs are in total shambles right now. Better to have dysfunction due to injury rather than politics I guess. After taking a look at the standings, I've re-assessed the team's chances this season. I actually think we're just as likely to make it to the second round of the playoffs again as we are to miss the playoffs. Strikes me as a little bit crazy, but Boston, after deliberately shedding all their veterans and losing their star player to injury, is the seventh seed in the playoffs!
Well, tough loss, but its really nice to see Taj rounding back into form. And Snell looks like he could be one of the steals of the draft if he keeps this up.
Snell looks stupid good. The thing is, he's going to be a really good defender too want's he's had a half season under his belt. Let's hope this is the new norm and not an outlier.
Deng, Gibson, Snell carried us. Was disappointing to see us miss three shots in a row, point blank at the rim!
The Bulls are an average-ish team. The oft-dissed Luol Deng is their best player. We all need to deal with this reality. I think my enjoyment of this season is going to hinge on Butler and Snell. Compared to what I was thinking coming into this season, that sucks big time. However, compared to what I was thinking immediately after Rose went down, it's twice as good...it didn't look to me like Snell would see the court.
Me too Transplant. I am watching the rest of the season to see what Butler and Snell can do. I was interested to see what Teague can do, but it looks like Thibs has seen enough.
If the Bulls let Deng walk for nothing in return, it wouldn't be the first time we lost our leading scorer that way. Guys who led this team in scoring and were traded or let go: Ben Gordon Eddy Curry Jamal Crawford Jalen Rose Elton Brand I mean they were gone the summer after leading the team in scoring, not one-time leader in scoring. Since Brand was traded, DRose is the only team leading scorer not traded or let go as a FA.
Yeah, I was hoping that Teague would push Kirk for the starting spot. He looks so awful I can't imagine that even happening now. I'm also watching Gibson this season. I like the advancement he's made working out of the post.
