Re: Phil Jackson, "Kobe to take less shots" Kobe will probablystill be around 31 or so points per game because he's still the only guaranteed scoring presence game in and game out. Considering that's where the battle usually takes place for scoring title, he'll still be in the mix.

The difference between the lakers leading scorer and second leading scorer was the largest in the NBA. which is not what phil is looking for. he wants them to be MJ and Pippen.

Re: Phil Jackson, "Kobe to take less shots" I think him taking a few less shots per game wouldn't be a bad thing, but this team is still a bit immature, still a bit undisciplined, and still will need Kobe to get his 32-35PPG to get into the playoffs (especially with the West getting stronger).But him sacrificing to 24FGA's per game wouldn't be a bad thing.

He's a much better player when he's setting up other people for scores. As long as he's facilitating the offense, I'm happy.
