Mike James played 13 minutes in the Chicago Bulls' loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday and has surpassed Marquis Teague at backup point guard for now.

Tom Thibodeau said Kirk Hinrich will start and James will be his backup at this point.

Teague did not play on Friday.

Teague was reportedly shopped by the Bulls early in the season.

Yeah, Forman has done a great job with his late first round picks, but you can't win 'em all.

Thibodeau has spoken highly of several younger players' work ethic. Teague has been conspicuously absent from these conversations. Teague needs to turn Thibodeau around or head to Europe.

Teague sucks. Maybe he'll turn it around somewhere else, but the guy just does not have a NBA game. Can't shoot, can't really run a team, he can get to the hole but that's about it.

What's worse is that even though he can get to the hole he doesn't finish very well once he gets there.

He's still young, but at the moment it looks like the deck is stacked against him. I can't remember a player that's looked as behind the curve as he has and still turned it around.

If your jumper is as bad as his it seems like you have to be an incredibly instinctive player to compensate (rondo, kidd, rubio, etc), but he's the least instinctive player I think I've ever seen at the PG position.

He looks like he'll have to spend about 2-3 years in Europe or the NBDL to find his game before he makes it onto an NBA roster after next year.

I'm not sure Teague's bad at finishing. When he gets to the hoop all I see is panic so I have no idea where his skills are at. I still really like Teague's skill makeup but I have to agree with everyone here that something (everything, really) is strikingly wrong with his ability to run a team.

The Bulls need to send him down to the D-League. I can't understand why they haven't done that yet.

Really. Teague and Nazr should be running that pick and roll like Stockton and Malone.

(Who's on the court with Teague?)
