Considering Smush parker's poor performance in the playoffs, the addition of Shammond williams and Farmar, would you say the PG position is wide open? I dont think Smush has proved himself to the point where he is a automatic starter.
I guess you could say that..but even with Smush's poor performance in the playoffs I still see him starting this season. Farmar may get a shot and Williams is a question mark.
I doubt Farmar will get a shot to start, Phil never plays rookies unless he has to. Let's hope he doesn't have to.
If Shammond can shoot the three and guard little guards like they say he can, then Smush may have a run for his money. Especially if Smush have not improved on defence. As it stands for now I see Smush starting and Shammond getting a lot of minutes as back up. Farmar is not going to see too much time this season.
Smush will probably come back better, I see him playing some safer defence. PJ will start him unless he gets injured because he is the best one for the job... right now.
I don't really see Phil starting Shammond or Farmar above Smush. Though Smush hasn't been a success for the team, he's the only PG the Lakers can really rely on right now due to his experience in the L. We'll have to wait and see.
