Casey actually writes a take on the stuff he quotes. There is meat to his writing regardless of whether or not it is pleasing to your palate. Casey puts his own spin on the work he cites. Casey doesn't constantly bad mouth Blazer players in his writing, and then go into the locker room and ask those same players to provide content for him. Casey doesn't delete comment when people disagree. And as disinterested as I may be with basketball shoes, at least you can't call Casey unoriginal. Is this really the best example to grant Golliver reprieve from his screaming inadequacies as a writer of sport?
Curious . . . you avoid swearing because of what it conveys but you use mask swearing. Does masked swearing convey something different to you than non masked swearing? I want to believe you don't take yourself too seriously, but your writing says otherwise (even you acknowledge that). So why not write more indicative to your personality? Serious question . . .
