We played as well as we can play, except for Boozer 4 points. Did not play at all the entire OT. Some Bulls fans want us to tank. We are trying, and still losing. In other words we are not losing on purpose.
I can't remember seeing a run of important missed calls like that before. That would be too big an obstacle to overcome if Kirk Hinrich wasn't your starting pg. I'm kidding. (I'm really not kidding.)
Since Rose went down, we have not stopped the guards from penetrating the lane at will. Teams are scoring too many points in the paint on us.
It was seriously in our favor. They called them for stepping on the line on an inbounds pass? Really? I like playing Kirk. One game closer to the lotto.
Wow, Luol Deng as the primary guy with the ball play after play. I guess there are not many other options. Some good shots, some awful ones, some good passes, some awful ones. Sheesh. Its going to be a long taffy pull of a season watching these games. Gibson looks really good out there. Nice to see Dunleavy do something. Interesting to see Snell being put in for defense it seemed at times. Kirk isn't likely going to be able to handle these heavy minutes. Once he goes down this will get truly ugly. Its a shame the Bulls could not beat the AD-less Pelicans (Pelicans?) at home. Watching this team down the stretch in close games is just awful to watch.
