Where will he get minutes though? (assuming we got him) The Pacers are kind of a mirror image of us. Granger needs to be moved... Although I don't think interest is that high because of his injuries and salary.
I was at that game. Honestly that was the game I gained respect for Kobe as a player and only hated on him for being a laker. Left shell shocked.
George was money. Makes me ever prouder of this victory tonight. Killer is, as lights out as he was, it was his few shots with lesser D on him that killed Indy's chances.
It's been said before, but the NBA stats page is pretty freaking amazing now. Game is barely over and video is already archived. http://stats.nba.com/gameDetail.html?GameID=0021300260#boxscore Check out some of PG's shots, insane.
Hypothetical trade that neither team would do: Would you trade Aldridge and Lillard for George? Just for fun lol
This will be their downfall. They play hard and smart but without a Robin they're just another Reggie Miller-esque Pacer team. Or a more talented LeBron led Cavs team.
Didn't watch the game, so is there something that the stats are failing to say about his performance? 40+ points and barely over .500% shooting isn't that rare...
Eh, all the top teams have a guy like him. Miami has LeBron/Wade, OKC has Durant/Westbrook, Duncan/Parker were that good back in the day. Indy needs that second option. Not sure where they'll get it though.
Paul George was pulling shots out of his ass tonight. He's taken the next step. A step I didn't think he could take, and I won't mind eating crow on him if he keeps it up for a season. He's increased his PER from high teens to 24 so far this year. I want to see if he can sustain it, but he looked like Oscar Schmidt against the US tonight.
I think George was as surprised as anyone. Plus, his "shush" gesture to the crowd when they went up 59-54 was ridiculous and assholish.
