Oh nice. Probably won't make it out as I'm just borrowing my parents jeep out in the burbs and have an early Tuesday flight out to lax

Probably going to catch the blazers game at big Als again at night as it's like 5 min away so I'll be back before tipoff.

. I yelp bookmarked it for next time though.

Btw there were quite a few laker fans at big Als...I think they end up out there when they move from California or something.

Hit up podnahs pit. It was pretty good, not outstanding. Brisket and collard greens

House of vintage on hawthorne had some nice stuff....if you want to get your hipster on this is the spot. Nice ironic shirts and trucker hats....next time I'll peruse longer

Was looking to get tix but no one wanted to roll. Was thinking of going solo but getting there from the burbs sucks. So much better living in the city

When I was single, I always used the holidays to head down to the local watering hole and try to sleep with some girl that was in my HS class.

Are you in your mid-30's? I figured you were more in your later-20's.

I should've know from a previous conversation we had about attending church and Catholicism. A lot of my family and friends have attended Jesuit and Lasalle.

I did most of my walking BTW in downtown. Just easier. Went down Thanksgiving day, did a walk, stopped in for some Stumptown and walked along the waterfront. Lots of homeless around.

Hit up Podnahs and Pok Pok, other than that, just chilled and grabbed casual lunches/coffee with friends, etc. Its good to come back. Don't know if I can live there, the pace of life is way too slow.

Tell me about it. I run into people I know all the time. My wife is from SoCal and Chicago and had barely been in Portland when we met. She still meets people that recognize her married last name and it creeps her out.

I am a big fan of Pok Pok. Bomb-diggity. We've been eating a lot of Asian food of late, and we get to Pok Pok whenever we're in the area.

Yeah, there are a lot of homeless around. It doesn't seem to be getting any better, either.

well they were giving food away in Chinatown for turkey day. Seemed really creepy and sketchy in parts at times.
