<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>After going through about half of Thursday's workout, Rockets guard Bonzi Wells was held out of Friday's practice because of continued soreness in the groin muscle he tore last season.

"Bonzi came to us after last year having a groin injury," Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy said. "He came to us hobbled, but we passed him on the physical because we think he can get well. We think he can be a big part of what we're doing.

"Even though a month seems like a long time, it's really not."

Rockets trainer Keith Jones said Wells was "sore and stiff" Friday as expected, but will go through parts of today's practice to continue to work him back.</div>
I am really concerned about the Rockets. Yao's having toe problems still, Bonzi is hurting, you still can't forget about T-Mac, Mutombo is old, Howard is on a massive decline, no starting caliber PF. If healthy, Houston is a top 5 team in the West, maybe top 4. But this is a home run season or a big whiffer. I'm really concerned.

Seriously... there's still a chance this season might duplicate last years... and yet all these fans in this other forum are saying were gonna win a Championship this year... it IS possible but its not very probable.. I'll focus on us getting past the 1st round

I'm not too concerned. T-Mac has had ONE bad season with injuries and has said he is as healthy as ever with his back, Yao played really well in the WC's and he's got a whole month for the bruise on his left big toe to heal, and as for Bonzi, without him the Rockets can easily get 5th seed. As long as he is there when it comes playoff time, and plays around 60 games in season, the Rockets will be perfectly fine.Howard is a good PF, very solid. May be on decline, but can get his points and will be great off bench if they decide to go that route. Mutombo is not half of what he was, but is still a good defensive player and a good backup at center. The only player I feel we could really use that I am concerned about is Sura, is he even at training camp?!? I hear NOTHING about him...

I was thinking Bonzi might be hurt (or out of shape), he ran open gym with the team up here last year, and wasn't here this year...

He wasn't exactly small last year, but I'm certain that he's out of shape right now...which is why he's probably injured...Oh well, he'll be good when it counts...
