His faith has picked them up and carried them. Imagine if every Blazer fan thought and believed the way this kat does.

I will say, if we make it to the finals, I'm buying 6 100 level season tickets and give at least 3 games away here a month

    That's awesome Mags.

You know, I'm sure it's around the site somewhere... but I've always wondered how you became a Blazers fan in the first place. How did it happen?!

1989, I had a friend that collected baseball, basketball and football cards. I used to go to a card shop after high school everyday. We kept trying to find David Robinson rookie cards and use our lunch money to buy them.

Anyway, we became really tight with everyone working at the card shop and the playoffs were on. I actually was a fan of Robinson, so we watched the series SAS vs. PDX. Sadly I was rooting for the spurs. Anyway, I remembered game 7 and we had like a 1 point lead in the closing seconds. I watched rod Strickland try to get fancy and do a behind the back pass for a turn over and the spurs lost.

I started following the Blazers and got hooked ever since. I was deeply saddened when Portland won in Detroit and had 3 games at home. We lost all 3 of them.
