If you must, you can run bootcamp and dual boot your mac into Windows and OSX Just to play games. Sheesh.
I'm just curious why Google and Microsoft are on the list and apple isn't. Bottom line obviously matters more, just curious. I prefer Google because they create products that do everything I want for a very good price.
Google is the new innovator, and they're doing it without bending over their customers and raping their wallets. Apple should really take note.
Google does nothing to support your PC vs. Apple argument. Can you build a google computer, or are you just losing sooooo badly in the debate that you have to leach on this one?
But should apple take note on google? This article disagrees…. http://www.forbes.com/sites/nigamarora/2013/12/04/how-apple-stock-got-red-hot-again/
You compared Google to Hyundai..... I felt I needed to interject. Apple is like Ducati... overpriced and underperforming
So, in your "I can build the same computer for half the cost" argument, you 1) don't build the same computer and 2) leave out one of the most expensive component (20%+ of your total cost). I understand that you can get a PC with comparable specs for less. And I understand that you can build a comparable PC yourself for even less than that. Just don't claim your 900 self made tower is the same as a 27" iMac, but at less than half the cost. Just cause some of the components are the same doesn't mean it is the same computer.
You can get a mac mini for as low as $599. Granted, its not as cheap as some PCs but the OS is superiour for ease of use.
You're leaving out one major key component to my argument. I built my computer two years ago. Apple is selling those same components for at or nearly twice the price, two years later. In the computer world, two years is a long time, no?
Underperforming? Show me the bench marks that support this claim? You even admitted that apple is superior in the graphic arts, music and video. No apple is the audi of the auto industry. PCs are the ford trucks
And apple still out benchmarking today's PCs with two year old hardware. The building a muscle car to a high performance sports car applies even more
PC's are not muscle cars. I don't think you understand how computers work. They have many of the same components. The same CPU's, the same ram, the same video cards, the same hard drives. Your Mac isn't faster than my PC. In fact, unless you have a SSD, I doubt you're even remotely as fast as mine. What you've been talking about is reliability. That has nothing to do with speed. Speed has to do with CPU, it has to do with RAM, it has to do with having a solid state drive. Those are hardware components. Your OS might be more reliable, but with how quickly hardware becomes obsolete, I don't really care if a computer lasts five years or longer.
Yeah well see if that even exists in 2 years. The problem with Google is they scrap half their products hoop fam
