The Clippers and 76ers are both in the preseason and when you go 18 deep its hard to play to win against international teams. Now if both teams had their regular 8-10 man rotations playing I'm pretty confident that any NBA team would win in international play. Off topic but the Clippers should use those special game jerseys as their season jerseys.

The team is actually turning around by paying it's players and actually trying to win. So you can't use their past to lament the current team. Teams turn around, look at the Mavericks from the 90's to now.</div>Agreed. To say the Clippers suck just because they are the Clippers, makes no sense. What will that guy say when the Clippers win a championship one day? That it doesn't count because they are the Clippers?Anyway, thanks Balla, or whoever corrected my thread title! :happy0144:

That is why the "Best" people in Europe come over to America and sit on the bench of alot of teams. I am obviously not counting the very minimal that are actually successful in the league. There arent too many. But the point is, the Knicks or any other bad team should be able to destroy the best Euro team. period
Exhibition games are played to find out which players are best fit for the team. This is the time where coaches watch and analyze all the players available. Of course you want to win every game that you play in but at this point it's all about determing the players talent and practicing plays that you will use for this upcoming season.

However, Clips losing is different compared to Team USA losing. How? Well, it's simple:- The FIBA/Olympic teams are filled with the best players from each country that is participating.- The Clippers have great talent on their squadron.- The team the Clips faced have no talent on their roster.- Team USA lost because of one awful game... Wow. - The Clippers lost because nobody seemed to give a F*ck.Those are the big differences right there.

And of course they aren't going to give a sh*t, it's an exhibition game! Preseason hasn't even started yet! Do you think they really want Elton Brand, Maggette, etc., to go all-out 100% and risk an injury right now? Nope...

Maybe not so much the 76ers, but definately the Clippers. And wait a minute, saying a team was on the verge of making the playoffs isn't the best defense for a team that you claim to not be sh*tty. As for the Clippers, even though they made the playoffs for like the first time in a million years, they still are the f*cking Clippers.</div>Glad to see that you are mature for a 47 year old Im not even going to reply to this dumb post.
Wow that is especially embarassing for the clips, they got beat by 19. How about Tony Parker, 26 pts the first game and 27 pts in the game this morning in easy wins for the spurs.

It's fun to pick on the Clips. Making jokes about them is fun and doesn't have to have any relevance.
People are blowing this out of proportion, The Clippers and Sixers lost there first game of the season. We only lost 4 times in 19 years to an international team. They started doing this in 1987, Since then we lost 4 times. I will take that win-loss record anyday.
