Bashir was host of Nightline at ABC for a few years. I saw his show on MSNBC, and it was hatemongering. He got in trouble for singling out Palin for one of his diatribes, and I don't think anyone like what he did. Makes it pretty obvious how left leaning Nightline is. They were perfectly fine wasting a whole show doing nothing but reading the names of our fallen soldiers. Fine. Thousands have died under Obama as CinC. Read some more names. I'm actually a Sharpton fan.
I never watched his show. I only know him from the Michael Jackson interviews. Seemed like someone who had mastered the act of being a serious interviewer but lacked the requisite humanity and sincerity.
Was going to do a project with him when he was on ABC a while back. A producer we had recently worked with warned us ahead of time he was a scumbag and was two faced.
