We're working on the second 25% of those wins already. I'm excited to see how long it takes to get to 30!
For comparison, other Portland three-loss teams: 1990-91: 27-3 (63-19 .768) 1977-78: 18-3 (58-24 .707) 2013-14: 16-3 (?) 1998-99: 15-3 (35-15 .700) 1999-00: 14-3 (59-23 .720) 1989-90: 12-3 (59-23 .720) Not saying they're going to win 58-63, but maybe...
ENTITY!! You're back! You're the poster who convinced me to go on all those road games 6 years ago. How have you been?
Hah! That's right! Yeah, I've been fine, so I guess this is a little off topic, but... I took my talents to Reddit. I'm fond of the upvote/downvote system. I decided to see how you all were doing, so I had to cross-post my latest stat-dig when I saw this thread. I got out of the service and returned home to the Portland area to be a full-time student. How are you?
Cool! I'm fine. Waiting/looking for the next acting job. Enjoying the Blazers. What are you studying?
Electrical Engineering at Oregon Tech-Wilsonville (opened 2012). I have a sick fascination for logic and machines. It's been a lot of fun, but this semester is particularly brutal, but I'm doing all right for a guy in his late 30s. So I'm looking... Lady Peacock, is it? When is that coming out?
I don't see any reason why this team can't win 55 games or more. Every time the haters think "this game will show us where we're at" we win. We're undefeated against 3 of the other 4 elite teams, only cause we haven't played Miami yet. We are really good.
this team continues to "surprise"! First the great start, then the slump and slew of injuries once again reduce expectations, and then a great stretch with LMA out and bench kicking in big time and we are back to a big mood upswing! Great season so far, my hope now is that we surprise in the playoffs!
Our little group here is totally representative of the entire fanbase apparently. Or something like that. haha
40-18 is so far beyond my expectations for this team that I can't wait to see how they're going to surprise me next.
your big words don't impress me! I think it's still not sinking in to me about how good the record actually is. If they continue at the winning % they're at now, it's 56 wins. Which puts them as the 6th best record in team history, and nothing to be that upset about. I'm not sure they'll end up with 56 wins, but I can't think of the last time the Blazers actually had as surprising of a season as this one is. Of course, the record of the last 15+ games has put a weird filter on the teams overall record.
