    This probably deserves a post in several threads, but this will do:

    From Elias: The Trail Blazers, with a win over the Jazz, tied for the 3rd best 20-game start in NBA history by a team that missed the playoffs the previous season. The last team to miss the playoffs and then go on to win at least 17 of their first 20 games the following season were the 2007-08 Celtics, who went 18-2 and then went on to win the NBA title.

    Just sayin.
