PG comparison Hinrich 1-10, 3 points, 4 assists, 5 turnovers Jennings 12-22, 33 points, 5 assists, 3 turnovers
Front line comparison Taj+Noah+Boozer 14-43, 26 rebounds, 36 points Monroe, Smith, Drummond 9-32, 36 rebounds, 23 points
Boozer had 11 points early in the first quarter. Then scored just 3 points more when the game was almost over. Noah out rebounded Miami almost the entire game!!! He was non existent tonight.
At 8-10, the Bulls are 2 wins behind Detroit now (they're 10-10) Bulls are in 8th seed playoff position. There are 7 teams with worse records. The Bulls are .444 win %, Cleveland at 7-13 is .350. If we do want to tank, a 10 game losing streak would put us in contention for the top draft picks.
The unpredictability of our record is quite remarkable. We're a veteran team that has a winning attitude and a good frontcourt. That ought to be enough to at least play .500ish ball most of the time, which might even be good enough for HCA, which would likely get us into the second round of the playoffs. We also have roster holes large enough to drive a truck through. We're a Kirk Hinrich pulled hamstring away from having MARQUIS TEAGUE AS OUR ONLY PG!! It's not hard to imagine the team going into a 5-10 game tail spin if something like that were to happen, in which case we're livin' large in tank city. Even if the team makes no moves, I think we're likely to go through a dystopian season where we're simultaneously crashing and burning and contending for a deep playoff run.
It will happen rosenthall. Hinrich will miss some games and we lose. Even if we sign a player for 10 days at a time, normally those type of player bring very little to a team.
