Step away from the computer. Going 3-1 on this trip (with Ind and OKC as the first 2) is fine. Holy moly. It's one game. Chill.

Crappola! Shout out to some really scrappy last second play to almost put it into overtime but credit Dallas, they won this game. Time to get hungry again after a brief spurt of media blitzing attention for a couple of days. Back to normal and time to start a new win streak!

Damian's offense is back, but his defensive failures were glaring tonight. I know Jose has some confusing hesitation moves, but Damian just gave up on them time after time, and kept giving up the baseline. Oh well, there's some good here, some bad. I'm personally all for these kinds of losses, as it should show the coaching staff what it takes to beat us, and ways to adjust when the three isn't falling. Could end up being a good learning experience this early in the season.

I agree with sinobas that's a bad loss. Now they could have tie breaker. U guys act like its late April... Dallas is only 3 and a half back of us not to mention west is stacked

Nope... And honestly Dallas deserves the win. They had a really good game plan. Phoenix just were unconscious. They never shoot that well. Dallas played their normal game and out played us. But... If we just shot 5% better from three, we would have won

Exactly. We're still #1 in the West with a very nice game to get our confidence back. We're in a really good place. Not worried at all.

The bench and defense was sub-part tonight. Bad thing is, due to contracts, there's not a whole lot that can be done to fix the bench this season.

Dallas wanted it more, EARNED the victory, and deserves credit where credit is due. Portlands defense was poor (how many open layups did they have??) and Dallas fought harder for the loose balls.

It sucks not to gain more ground on the rest of the WC, but realistically, the Blazers aren't going to be keeping the #1 seed for much longer anyways.

    Let the Freeze-pocolypse come!

The media doesn't have as much of a leg to stand on with a buzzer beater than a blow out. A blow out they'd have a field day... buzzer beaters happen to every team once or twice.

Still, I tend to avoid the board after losses because of *cough* certain people *cough*.

    8 - 16 for Dallas vs 9 - 30 from Portland. That's obscene.

63 points left on the court.

I hope they take it out on Utah Monday and beat them by 42 this time. I'd like to see us get 140 or 150. :)

Both teams played hard. Dallas played harder. They deserved the win.

All in all it should prove to be a good learning experience.

As long as they win the game, I don't care if it's 1 point or 10 points.
