We are going to have nights where we miss threes. That's part of our offense. We can't have a bench that only puts up 15 points. That's completely unacceptable.

Dirk was unreal when they needed him the most. And here I thought that guy had lost a step.

Heart breaker seeing as how I was certain this was going to OT.

Tough loss and emphasizes we still have some work to do on defense. But thrilling game! Visions of Roy with those Lillard timely threes!

Could've swept the power rankings as #1 with a win. Guess we'll have to settle for top 3 again...

Man. Tough loss. I know we would have beaten them if it had gone to overtime. Well there is always tomorrow.

Dallas had 2 days off to prepare for this game. Portland played the night before. Shit happens.

Michael Holton schooling Dwight Jaynes on Talking Ball. lol Jaynes is a typical homer, giggled after wins and piles on the "I told you so" and "Portland is bad" after a loss.

That really didn't matter. Dame was huge, Aldridge still put up solid numbers despite all the defensive pressure they put on him, and switching Calderon onto Nic blew up in their face. All we needed was a few more points from the bench and we would have won this.

That sounds like a closet troll to me. Not a homer.

In honor of the bad bad teams, I post this video in memory of how many Blazer games ended in the first decade of this century.

That was B-Roy like from Dame. Very impressive. Defense was a little dicey at times, but the effort is there. You have to love the way this team competes. Not to mention, there were several possessions down the stretch that the defense WAS pretty good - just better shot making. Dirk with a couple of step back rainbows with a hand in his face. What else can you do? That possession where it looked like we had a steal and were headed the other way with numbers, but Calderon somehow came up with it and found Ellis in the corner for a wide open 3. That's just an unlucky break. Bottom line is Dallas played a solid game for 4 quarters, shot 50+%, took care of the ball, and hit big shots down the stretch . . . and they needed a buzzer beater to beat us, on a night where we played sloppy and didn't shoot well.

Missing 21 threes? If that happened again the rest of the season I would be shocked.

    It wont, that's the point.

But shitty production from our bench? That will happen again. It's been happening. They have given up big leads. They've allowed other team's to build on a lead. We've been able to overcome it because if our awesome starting five, but on nights like tonight, it bit us in the ass.

Exactly. But this is too sensible for trolls with their agenda. :)

    Agree with Kawdow.

His last two games have been a thing of beauty. So glad to see him returning to form.
