Yes, I am a homer. I always believed that the Eagles would make the playoffs this year. I was right on that one..but I also think the Raps will make the playoffs. I couldnt live with myself as a fan if I thought any of my favourite sports teams didnt have a shot at the playoffs. Thats the ultimate goal for me. Thats why I root, and support my teams.Although I DID NOT think the Raps would make it last year..

I know that the Tigers rock, but the Wings or Pistons don't have as great a shot at the Title anymore.

My definition of a real "homer" isn't just someone who supports their home teams. I think it's someone who cares about no other team BUT their home team. The people that think that every player on their team is better than anyone else. I hate that, and that's a homer in my opinion. Like if there is a comparison thread between say Dwight Howard and Ryan Gomes, and if someone honestly picks Ryan Gomes - they are a homer.
Or if you simply voerrate your team/players. I do that ALOT. Im guilty. Cant help it. I have alot of passion for my favourite teams in football, and the NBA.

I can't really be homer... we have a CFL team, and the Blue Bombers will always be my favorite CFL team. Oh and I guess there is Minnisota (Winnipeg's unofficial sports teams), I love the Vikings and not so much the T-Wolves but they are still one of my favorite basketball teams.But aside from that I need some other teams... I'm not really a homer. There are some pretty mediocre teams that I support (Rangers, Aggies) and trust me, I will tell you what's wrong with them. I can be biased at times, but not much past that.
