It was the first time an NBA team had lost to a Euroleague opponent.

The second time only came a few days earlier, when the Sixers lost to Barcelona.Off topic: Barcelona is a beautiful city. Yup, some more needless information by Renton :shifty2:

What? Of course you can say that the U.S. is better than the Euro's. First of all, Anthony Parker is American, not European. So are half the dudes on the team that beat the Clippers. Second of all, this is pre-season, teams dont care if they lose or not. If the Clippers really cared, they would have played Brand the whole game, and they would have told him to dominate those Eurio big's. 3rd of all, U.S. players have a ton more talent, and would just overwhelm the Euro teams if Euro teams played in the NBA.So yes, of course U.S.A. is still alot better than Europe, even though European's have come along way recently in the sport of basketball.

I dont think you should say that unless you watch as much as EuroLeagu as u do NBA....The rest of the world is caught up to the States, not as same caliber I must say..but for countries dont even appreciate basketball thats pretty damn good. As in the US, where Basketball is a highly favorited/ publisicized sport.

The U.S. would dominate Euro teams if they got to play them 80 times in a season.

American players are just way more athletic and talented than the European players, and would just overwhelm them most of the time, if they were out there to win every game.

Hey Rapsfan, u are nuts. Euro players cant keep up with US players. It is just simple....You want to know why I can say that? Because bad NBA players go overseas to play when they cant cut it in the NBA. It is just a different level of basketball.

Than why are Euro teams always beating NBA teams? FIBA...Olympics...Pre-season games...You can't say we're better in everything - the rest of the world is catching up.

Um what place did USA come this year? as I recall it wasnt first..also u cannot say the European players HAVE NOT caught up with the NBA. There is a very good amount that play at the NBA level.Just because players that leave NBA and go to Europe doesn't mean it is like the NBDL. Therye not the best players in the Euroleagues eithier, actually players practice and get better in Europe and get more minutes and experience due to the lack of players in Europe, and come back to the NBA.

In many fo the games, they just dominated International oppenents. Thats not fair at all. THere are only a few great Euro players like Dirk, Ton Parker, Pau Gasol...Look at all the great American players in the League. Actually, in general American players that go over to Europe do very well. Look at Anthony Parker. He struggled in the NBA, and once he came to Europe, he was considered the best player to play in Europe by many people..
