Apparently there was a three way trade being discussed involving Gardner, Justin Masterson, and Didi Gregorius. Gardner would have wound up with the Indians, Masterson with the Diamondbacks, and Gregorius with the Yankees. Huh. [Sweeny Murti]

Wow, I would of loved that, put the kid at 2B for year, back to shortstop for the next 15.

...if the were to happen I think I would be time to tell Jeter he's gonna play 3B and will be tutoring Gregorius...then sign Infante and/or another starter.

Tex would need to borrow Lundqvist's pads if you put Jeter at third.

Holy shit HOCKEY? Do people still watch that? The last time I saw Hockey Meriweather won by a unanamous decision. Or was that boxing? I get the two mixed up.

...I'm not really a fan myself, and in fact, I can honestly say I've never watched a game from from start to finish.

...lol...from what a few hockey fans have told me, watching the game on TV is nothing compared to actually being at a game. I think if I went to a live game I might get into it.

A few years back they took a poll among hockey fans and asked them what they love most about the sport, 92% of the responders said, "The fights" Now how the hell dumb is that? So 59 my suggestion, Go see a live boxing match because according to 92% of so-called hockey fans it's the same damn thing.

Rick its amazing how one csn take a poll and find info. I am a passionate hockey fan. What those athletes do on an inch blade is amazing. Ever tried skating? There is so much action going on. Its football without the 82 huddle breaks. Yes unfortunately most people associate the fighting with hockey and that's a shame. It doesn't help that the media posted those highlights before the actual skilled player in attempt for ratings.
