wow, my x factor was way off. I expected telfair to play more than just 10 minutes.and to larry hughes, what are you talking about? The cavs starers averaged about 16 mins while the Cs starters logged 15.8. so there goes your "if we would have played our starters as long as you did" theory. the fact is that our bench is simply way stronger than yours. end of story.

PP and the rest of there team's starters were in threw the 3rd when our bench players were in. When ever I looked away from the TV and looked back there was paul right at the FT line...LOLDon't matter James and the cavs know its pre season so they didn't try hard when the season comes I see Boston and the cavs goign down to the wire and IMO cavs to win it.But good luck.

didn't try? that's gotta be the lamest excuse I've ever heard. so immature. He's in the nba, he tried. He played the same amount of time as Paul Pierce did, so stop with the excuses. if the boston starters played alot in the 3rd quarter, they must've missed the 1st, 2nd, and 4th.

Wow, what a game! I was the happiest person alive when that game started, and I am even happier after the game. The win in preseason means nothing, but the play from the youngsters was incredible. I can't even stress how happy I am.

    Rajon Rondo
OK, Rajon looked incredible. Defensively, he was excellent. He not only caused problems in the passing lanes and came up with 3-4 steals, but he applied excellent pressure on the ball. We all knew he was an excellent rebounder at the PG spot, and it showed tonight. He got in there on the boards. Now, offensively, you had to absolutely love what he did as well. He missed some open shots, but in time he'll improve. But playmaker is his middle name. He created a pluthera of easy buckets for people that chose to run or cut. His vision is off the charts and he dished 8 or 9 assists. But it's really not even the assist number that I like. It's what kind of passes they were. They weren't just passing to someone for an open jumper, they were true unbelievable passes. I love Rondo. I love Rondo. Did I mention that I loved Rondo?

    Sebastian Telfair
Well, I thought he would play a little more, but with the way Rondo was playing I'm not bothered by it. When he was in there, 10-11 minutes, he scored well. He got a few early turnovers, but hey it's preseason. It's expected. But he didn't force things, he drove to the rack at will, and he showed that he truly has rockets on the back of his shoes. I would like to see more than 10 minutes tomorrow night, but when he was out there tonight he looked pretty good.

    Al Jefferson
Big Al looked great out there tonight. If he got more time he could have had a 25 point game at the rate he was going. His post game was there, he put on some excellent moves in the post, and he rebounded alright. I also like that he didn't go for any up-fakes at all. He really looked comfortable out there, and that's what I want to see.

    Gerald Green
Well, I don't know if ESPN is going to show preseason highlights, but if they do Gerald Green will be in SC Top 10 twice, at least. I mean he dunked the ball 5 times, he hit a couple shots, and he really crashed the boards. But there was one word that Gerald Green just couldn't spell last year - defense. Tonight, I gotta tell ya, he looked 10x better defensively. It's not even "good d for Gerald Green," it really was very solid defensive play. He got in the passing lanes and stole the ball 3 times that I remember, he stayed in front of his man, and he disrupted shots. He commited a few boneheaded reach-in fouls, but that's alright. I really loved what Gerald did out there. Plus, he made some heads up passes, especially the one off the steal up court to Scal.

    Tony Allen
bostonfan23 said he was a minus, but I don't really think so. He wasn't bad out there at all. I mean he wasn't great, but he was solid. By watching him sky for rebounds, you could tell that he definitely got a lot of his lift back. He really got up a couple times.

    Michael Olowokandi
Do you kids want some Kandi? God damn he was excellent! I have never seen him hustle that much in one game his entire career. Granted, it's obviously because he's fighting for his life for a contract, but I don't care. What I saw tonight from Kandi Man was amazing. He hustled his ass off, he fought for every rebound that came his way (and got most of them), and he really showed heart. I mean 8-9 minutes on the court, 10 boards = excellence. Plus he had a nice block. Kandi is easily the frontrunner for the final roster spot as of now.

    Kendrick Perkins
Perk was awesome tonight as well. He got a few nice buckets, it looks like his hook shot improved. But more importantly, he was a LOT more patient on the block with the ball. He took his time until he had space and position. He fought in the paint as usual. But the only thing I didn't like from Perk is that he jumped around and fell for so many up-fakes. But overall, Perk played a good game tonight.

Paul and Gomes were themselves and Wally didn't shoot well. Allan Ray also hit a few open jumpers and he also had a VERY nice pass off the drive. Overall this team looks excellent out there. We are a very deep team. I would like to see some Dwayne Jones and some more Leon Powe, but that will come soon, it was only the first preseason game.

I can't wait for tomorrow! Dogma don't forget to make the thread, we are away again (Toronto).

haha CB you're right. I watched sportscenter this morning and Green had two sick plays on the top ten. that tip in was insane. only I heard the most disappointing thing ever from some espn guy. after gerald's windmill, the guy said "and that's how you get picked first overall out of high school." what the hell? what an idiot! :HAHAHA:

Pierce was playing with cavs bench players like Luke Jackson and Ira ROFL.But it's just a pre season game and when the season starts and James plays longer same with Hughes we will see what happens.

LOL yeah I heard him say that too. Idiot. Oh well, he got #8 and #3 on SC Top 10 didn't he? Or 7 and 2? I don't know, but all I know is that I have his 2 handed windmill from last night as my avatar  .

But although Gerald dunked the ball 5 times (yes, 5 times), he really impressed me overall, on BOTH ends of the floor. His all-around game has improved, especially defensively.

haha, every single one of my basketball friends came up to me and told me how sick Green's dunks were. pretty encouraging, considering none of them are celtics fans.
