Yet MM thinks we should've dealt our MVP candidate for a CHANCE at one of these teenagers. http://tracking.si.com/2013/12/13/jim-boeheim-says-freshmen-arent-worth-tanking-for/
Do you think you could have posted that article without calling out and trying to ridicule someone for their opinion?
I think the players will probably be good players for their future NBA teams, but I agree with Boeheim. I don't think they're a franchise changing player. I wouldn't turn one down, but I don't think it'll be Durant, or Wade/LeBron/Carmello.
It's really weird. There is a steady stream of good players passing through the NBA - but every year people tell me the draft class sucks. If there are never any rookies worth having, where does NBA talent come from?
Wiggins ceiling is more Paul George than it is LeBron. At the same age, LeBron was more athletic and 50 lbs. heavier. I never understood this comparison. If you're a team on the verge of a rebuild I'd tank for Parker, Wiggins or Embiid.
Maybe, but I'm just participating in the argument. MM has said made his case and I'm responding with this info. It's a dialogue. He says what he says. I say what I say.
Well no shit, Jim Boeheim is going to say something like this. He's in direct competition with the NBA for the services of these kinds of players. You don't see the inherent conflict of interest here KS?
