How about you show a little self control? If you see a post by whoever you want to ignore, just don't read it and scroll down to the next post. It ain't that hard.

The concept of self control is just a societal construct of trying to make you feel bad and shame you for being alpha, thereby evening out the masses into a single hive mind drone mentality where standing up for yourself or your beliefs are frowned upon and original thought is dismissed as weird or over the top. fuck bitches get money

Niners kicked a field goal. On the ensuing kickoff Tampa tried to get cute and run a reverse ten yards from their own endzone, they fucked up the handoff and Kendall Hunter picked it up and strolled in for the TD.

Blazers win in OT and that is a good thing. But the continuing weakness of the bench was even more glaring. They played 58 out of the available 265 minutes (Mo played almost half of those minutes with 26) and scored 17 points in those 58 minutes with 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Those are brutal stats in an OT game where there are 220 combined points.

Only Robin Lopez with 39 minutes managed to play less than 40. The record is great but unless they get more production, the starters are on borrowed time.

Well, I'm not sure why people are trying to replace Mo or Dorell. If anything, they need another big that isn't crap. TRob doesn't even get any second half burn in close games, Stotts doesn't trust him. And Joel, I appreciate his improvement on defense, but dude is almost as bad as Joel (Gorilla) on offense.

Our starters played less than 30 last night and more than 40 in a 53 minute game. So out of 101 minutes, no one played more than 82 of those minutes. I'm fine with that on this road trip.

Part of the Williams/Wright discussion is they are so one dimensional. One only dribbles, the other only shoots 3's. Williams' PER for and against is a MASSIVE deficit number and Wright is shooting around 33% for the season. Not exactly anything to write home about. I just fear for the starters health and continued monster production.

Wright looks like he's coming around now. Mo is Mo.

I hope he is coming around but take out the 5-5 in the Phoenix game and he is shooting very poorly over the last 5 or 10 game stretches...take your pick. I hoped he would be more than just a spot up shooter when we got him.

    Because it's true?

Tonight the bench scored 17 points. Detroit's bench scored 28.

    Mo was 3-10.

    Wright was 1-2.

    Robinson was 1-4.

    Freeland was 2-3.

We still don't have a consistent scorer off the bench. You can rage about it all you want, but it's a true statement. We need more bench scoring. We had four starters over 40 minutes tonight. Thank god our starters got some rest last night.

Channing Frye with 20 points off five made three pointers. He also chipped in five rebounds.

Fits in by expiring in two years too :)

Brother, we need to wait though. We will have a MLE to offer a great bench player. It's better to not jump the gun this season and allow this starting 5 to really gel. Then we know exactly what we need.

Who knows, the playoffs are really won by starters so we can still have a great chance. The bench is needed for the regular season.

Also, CJ is coming back and we really need to develop him.

Mags, I'm fine with waiting. I want to see what CJ has to offer us, BUT I'm getting sick and tired of people acting like this thread is such a huge affront. Our bench is not that good man. We had a great night against Philly, but that has not been the norm. They blew another lead tonight, when we were up 10, and we struggled to get back into it from that point on.

This bench will bite us in the ass at some point. I'm hoping CJ can make a difference when he comes back. We need a consistent scorer on the bench. We don't have one. We need someone that we can count on to score every night. Mo is inconsistent, Wright is inconsistent, and Robinson is inconsistent. Freeland simply isn't a threat on offense. Maybe CJ will be that guy.

Seriously though, the vitriol in this thread would make you think that I called Dame a horrible player, or Aldridge a joke.

You have a good point, I'm not saying you don't. I'm just seeing us play with house money right now. We still have CJ as well. Also, we are still winning.

If Olshey does decide to trade, then I will trust his decision. I'm just happy where we are right now

I don't want to mess up our chemistry. It's been talked about so much, and I don't want to ruin that. It's an important thing to protect.

With that said, dude, our starting five is legit. We have the talent to go all the way. I can see that now. Our starting five might be the best in all of basketball. Stephen A. Smith is right though. We are one piece away. That piece COULD be CJ. We need a legit bench scorer. Could be a big man, could be a guard, I don't know, but we NEED a scorer on the bench. Mo is just way too inconsistent.
