Or is there some other agenda here.

Seriously, though, did you read the link I posted to the author's personal WWW site? The guy is Joe McCarthy and instead of Commies it's Muslims he's after.

Like, they've infiltrated our government agencies! *gasp* (he makes that claim)

Sure, get rid of the redaction so we can all see. If it were a declaration of war against us by the Saudis, I don't think we'd have gone into Iraq, but Saudi Arabia instead.

Our support of SA is one of the main reasons al qaeda exists

Russians invaded Afghanistan is why Al Qaeda exists.

There is no way we'd ever invade Saudi Arabia.

    you must be trolling

Al-Qaeda (/ælˈkaɪdə/ al-ky-də; Arabic: القاعدة‎ al-qāʿidah, Arabic: [ælqɑːʕɪdɐ], translation: "The Base" and alternatively spelled al-Qaida and sometimes al-Qa'ida) is a global militant Islamist organization founded by Osama bin Laden in Peshawar, Pakistan,[15] at some point between August 1988[16] and late 1989,[17] with its origins being traceable to the Soviet War in Afghanistan.[18] It operates as a network comprising both a multinational, stateless army[19] and a radical Sunni Muslim movement calling for global Jihad and a strict interpretation of sharia law.

SA has been a huge financial supporter of Al Qaeda.

ok, that is a fair statement, I read that as the reason for existing, rather than the reason they still exist. The odd part of this equation is that SA would not enjoy a heavy AQ presence within its rule. Could be the reason they have them engaged elsewhere

The House of Saud made a deal with the devil when they accommodated the Wahhabists. They help fund their madrasas and allow them to have a voice in internal politics and social policies, and the Wahhabists don't foment internal revolution--they foment it out of Saudi Arabia.

I don't think it was official Saudi policy to attack the United States, but I do think there are members of the Saudi Royal Family who fund Al-Qaeda, and many more who are sympathetic to their cause.

The bottom line is we can rid ourselves of this rat-infested hellhole of a region if we just decided to become energy independent. Drill here, drill now, drill everywhere. Buy oil only from North America. Build nuclear power plants. The Middle East should be left to settle their own conflicts. Enough of our blood has been spilled trying to bring these barbarians into the 18th Century.

Great idea tho Maxie, but running the world is just too lucrative

I'd say a good first step is to stop funding and arming al qaeda, if they indeed are our enemies, seems almost treasonous...
