Great interview with LaMarcus Aldridge with ESPN’s Kevin Arnovitz on TrueHoop TV. Check it out: http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/64586/lamarcus-aldridges-big-leap-forward
This thread needs some help. HCP made a cameo appearance on the Blazer's pre-game show before Detroit, with MB and him on the snowy tarmac. Hilarious. #royalties
Ya, some people texted me about that. They didn't even get my permission to use that image. I need to talk to my lawyer!
It looks like MB is doing his best disco pose. It looks like you are trying to keep from slipping on the ice and falling on your fanny. lol sry.
good thing counting his you knows isn't part of a drinking game, but a really fun interview of one of my all-time favorite Blazers STOMP
Here's another Blazer article today. (It's probably been posted, but my choice is to keep up on articles or keep up on board reading.) http://www.nba.com/2013/news/featur...ame-voting-question/index.html?ls=nbahpsplit2
In that last link, David Aldridge reverses himself and says he's not related to LaMarcus. I guess he was joking before.
He has joked about it a ton an has said on the air a few times he isn't related so its just something he likes to laugh about I guess.
I should be asleep but insominia strikes again. Was listening to the SVP podcast earlier an they had Patrick Willis from the 49ers on who constantly said "you know" so it got me wondering how many times LMA said it during this interview so I rewatched the interview to just count how many times Lemarcus says "you know" an got him at an even 100 by the end of the interview.
Someone pointed it out a while back, and now it drives me nuts. I almost can't listen to an LA interview because all I hear is "you know." That which has been heard, cannot be unheard.
I read about it from somewhere on here awhile back and the Willis interview reminded me of it and thats when the Glass shattered and now I focus so much on the "you know" I barely notice what the person is actually saying. That Willis Interview was 5m long and I can't remember anything the guy said except for "you know" and I only know what LMA said because i'v watched that interview three times now.
I really don't understand why these guys don't hire professionals to work with them on public speaking. I remember Bonzi Wells would answer every question with "uh definitely," and then he would actually answer the question.
