Some serious charges...so far, misdemeanor charges: menacing and fourth-degree assault including strangulation. Arraignment has already taken place. Given the EPD investigation with the snow incident, it is becoming apparent that not all is well under Mark's leadership.... Including Hill, it appears at least four Duck football players are currently under investigation. Hill has been suspended...indefinitely.

For the record I'm not condoning anything in Troy Hill's article. I'm posting about how disappointed I am in how someone would use something as serious as this to push their agenda with other not related at all discussion on here. Incredibly poor form.
yup, very petty while this sounds like absolutely horrible news, I'm a wait till the facts come out before judging sort of guy. Maybe this will be a LMJ sort of situation, maybe he's a complete scumbag. All I know thus far is that Troy is accused of some serious legal shit and those in charge have taken the expected/appropriate steps in dealing with the situation. STOMP
And, you guys continue to wonder why the board hasn't recruited new and regular posters in years while a handful of new Duck sites have cropped up and been successful. If you had a clue, which clearly you don't, you would realize there are many similarities. For one, criminal law breaking. For two, police involvement and formal investigation with reports to the district attorney. For three, lack of discipline with numerous key players and a concerning trend. For four, actions that resulted in victimization. Maybe you guys forget, or maybe you didn't even know...but, Mr. Hill was suspended for the Civil War along with Dargan for something pretty serious...that occurred in a team commons area. Unless you had direct information on this situation, you probably wouldn't think twice. Or, maybe you just don't think at all. This pattern is very concerning (and I'm not just referring to your ignorance).

A Blazer forum that is so successful that the Blazers made it their official forum. 2nd, one of the strengths of the forums here at S2 is we ask our members to "attack the post and not the poster." Can anyone here share, with 100% assurance, what Dargan and Hill were suspended for? Anyone? Pulling info from speculative and anonymous message boards earns zero points. "Hill and fellow defensive back Erick Dargan were suspended for the Ducks' game against Oregon State for an unspecified violation of team rules."
