I hate this F...ing team! They really need to show me something at both ends of the ice, but I don't they're capable.

Tough to be consistent with alot of waste on the team. Even Lundqvist is not with it.

Not a fan of this new coach either. I know a change was needed but I'm not convinced they made a good choice. Messier might of been a better option.

Even though Lundquist has not been his usually reliable self, he still deserves better than what this team surrounds him with on defense.

Outside of Kreider there is not much to like on this entire roster

I'm not going to go after the coach. His track record says he's more offensive minded, but the problem is that the Rangers don't have a heck of a lot for to put on the ice.

A big problem with this team is the defense. It's hard to be a finisher on offense, when you don't any real starters on the defensive side. I was always on DZ's case, but I think Girardi is the one who really needs to go.

That doesn't excuse some very bad decisions. Kreider should've been on the ice for that OT PP and to put complete wastes in the shootout is a joke.

I think AV will be good for the franchise, he's just biting his tongue because he knows how bad the roster is. Hopefully he helps make the decisions in FA, he knows what he needs. That said, some of his decisions are JTesque.

I hope so but there's no reason to make bad decisions even if this is not your ideal roster or a roster you feel is a one year carry over from Torts.

A big problem is that this is still basically just a Tort's team (full of grinders). It's important to have a few grinders, but problems arise when the majority of your team is full of them.

Right, he should be using his best assets. Unless there's something else going on with Kreider and him.

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and where is Sather in all this mish-mosh. Rumor,
not mine, he's thinking of stepping down.....health reasons.
Sad. He's done nothing to make this organization a consistent winner.
Where is Mess?

Keep the faith jam, it's way too early to throw in the towel. I'm with you Messiah, Messier would have been my choice he's the exceptional type of motivator this team needs but I'm willing to give AV a chance. There are some things I don't like about AV but he has 2 guys who wouldn't even play on another NHL roster in his daily lineup.

Can't evaluate AV with this roster

I agree dis. This roster is very flawed this season. If we are sitting in the same spot at this time next season, then I will judge AV harshly.

And for sure keep the faith. I can't see anyone throwing in the towel with 40 + games left, and us still close to a playoff spot. But we also need to be honest and say this team is very flawed and has a bunch of holes.

We have no dmen with any size to pound people. Outside of Kreider and Nash we have no forwards with any size who actually have some skill. This is a very small team. The guys with a combo of some size and some good skill are very very few. That's just reality.

So let's all keep up the faith. Play these next 40 + games out and hope for the best, I agree for sure. But let's also hope we fix some of the clear roster flaws/issues we have this summer, because there are a bunch of them to fix.

I keep the faith Panzer. I watch every game and hope for the best, but this team can really test your patience. Long ways to go, and yes, anything can happen, so I will hold out for some hope. Stranger things have happened right?

Chuck, this roster has some good players, but MOST of it is bad which makes them easy to defend. If I'm coaching the Rangers, I blanket Nash (just like Gaborik) and I don't allow him to get free. Anybody else, I take my chance with because more often than not they either shoot the puck wide, or directly into the midsection.

As for roster flaws, they need to start with the defense, and work their way up ...

Vigneault knows what he's doing. He probably is rolling his eyes when Sather's not looking since he can't believe how much crap he's assembled.

We are not that far away given the $$$$ we have and the cornerstones we have to build around (Lundqvist, McD, Kreider, Nash)

Maybe we will get lucky and Slats will step down soon and we get a stud GM who can put the pieces together to transform this team next year and beyond. Just suck it up this year and maybe we get a top 6 pick
