No. People only last 15 minutes on my couch when they're over "watching movies", so I would think all the Fish get away.
So basically, am I an asshole if I go to Seaworld? I mean I guess it was cool as a kid, now I don't know, i'd probably get bored.
Very interesting documentary, and very well-presented. I'd still pay to go to Sea World. Hell, I'd pay to go to a North Korean work camp if the guards were all chicks in wetsuits...
Notorious killer whale Tilikum is responsible for the deaths of three individuals, including a top killer whale trainer. Blackfish shows the sometimes devastating consequences of keeping such intelligent and sentient creatures in captivity. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2545118/?ref_=nv_sr_1
I haven't seen it, but I've read about it. I'm too affected by docs like this, so I most likely won't watch. It's not going to change my mind since I already am opposed to seaworld and other places that confine otherwise healthy intelligent animals and force them to perform. I don't like the zoo, cause I don't like seeing the great apes or elephants in such restrictive areas either. If I don't watch, I can go on my life as I do now. If I watch it, I will become annoying and sanctimonious on an even more frequent basis.
