The Memphis Grizzlies have signed guard Seth Curry from the Santa Cruz Warriors, the Grizzlies announced today.

Curry, 23, appeared in 12 games with the Santa Cruz Warriors, averaging 21.3 points (tenth in the NBA D-League) and 7.8 assists (fourth in the D-League). He set a Santa Cruz single-game record for points (36 against Austin on Nov. 22) and assists (13 at Los Angeles on Dec. 15). The 6'1", 180-pound guard has scored 20 or more points seven times, and he led the team in steals five times.

Curry was acquired by the Santa Cruz Warriors on Nov. 1 via the affiliate rule after spending time with the Golden State Warriors in the preseason. He appeared in six preseason contests with Golden State, averaging 2.2 points and 1.0 assist in 7.2 minutes. He averaged a team-leading 17.5 points per game in his senior year at Duke University, where he finished second in the ACC in three-point percentage (.438) and three pointers made per game (2.7). He earned First-Team All-ACC honors and Second-Team All-America recognition from The Sporting News.
