They passed on RHPs Noah Syndergaard and Taijuan Walker and picked Cito Culver, SS (#32) in the 1st round 2010 draft. Syndergaard and Walker are already on the verge of moving into their respected rotations with high expectations. Help me out....is the Yankee scouting and drafting so obviously inept? We already know the "system" is horrendous at developing starting pitchers once they get here....maybe it wouldn't have mattered if the Yanks drafted one of those two pitchers, they would've found a way to screw them up. lol
