Im going with John Stockton as the best player 6"1 or under in NBA history.John is the 2nd best pg in my opinion, behind only Magic Johnson. John was an extraordinary passer, topping 10 apg for the majority of his career. Didnt he even get like 14 apg one year? That's just crazy. He made Karl Malone a better player with his opassing abilities. He was just a great passer.Not only that, he was also a top notch defensive player. He is the all time LEADER in steals in the 50+ year history of the NBA. He is one pesky defender, and was on the all defensive second team 5 times in his career.Some people dont give him the credit he deserves scoring wise also. Not only was he a great passer, but also a good scorer. He had 17 ppg seasons 3 times in a row. He was a quick player, and a good shooter to his credit as well. He was a very efficient scorer, and for his career totals an amazingly efficient .515 percent from the field. That is sensational for a guard in this league.He and Karl Malone were a great combo, and would have won a championship or two for sure, if it was not for Michael Jordan and the Bulls.John came a very long way from a skinny white boy out of Gonzaga to one of the NBA's greatest players ever. Well, all this is why I think John is the greatest little man in the history of the NBA. He is what any team would dream of as a pg, and just a great overall player.

There have been other topics where people were to choose another player and they did very well, and in this topic anyone could make an easy case for AI as being better than Stockton.
