Cam Talbot was the first goalie off the ice and will start tonight against the Caps. (Rangers on twitter).

Marc Staal is on the ice for a full Rangers practice. (Pat Leonard)

Welcome sight after NYR AM skate-Ryan Callahan on ice in DC, 17 days after suffering knee sprain.

Ryan Callahan is skating in sweatpants at one end of the ice following the Rangers morning skate. (Larry Brooks)

If Talbot continues to play really really well things will get very interesting with Hank, his contract and as much as we all love him, his ego

Good, shouldve played him somewhere in that 8 game stretch where they tried to force Lundqvist out of his slump. He should not be given free passes they need to whats best for the team.

Gotta ride the hot hand while you can. Regardless, if this team is going to achieve anything significant it will have to be on Henrik's shoulders, not Talbots, so it's imperative to get him back on track.

Agreed. Start Talbot while he is winning. Big picture we need Hank to be Hank. Another interesting thing to watch with this team. Man this will be a very interesting 8 weeks or so I think.

“In so many words, Marc Staal says if he gets a full practice in tomorrow he hopes to return soon, perhaps as early as Sunday in Tampa” (Pat Leonard)

It would be nice to get 5pts on this trip, especially if those two are back. Pitt is without alot of people and dupuis too now.

Those fking Penguins can grab a bunch of fatty's off the crowd and would still win. I don't get it.

They have plenty of those out there, even more than the Devil fans. I think DDD knows alot of them.

Dumb. This team is about Lundqvist. Not a 26 year old backup. This team goes nowhere unless Hank finds his game and he does that by playing.

On the other hand, if they play Cam and he stays hot, his value will go up more.

His value is that of any other career minor leaguer who had his 15mins under the sun, but i guess if Sather suddenly wakes up he might be able to sucker someone into thinking he's the next Tim Thomas. You never know.
