Wow. Leonard is looking sharp against Miami in the first half. I'm finally starting to understand why the Portland coaches like him so much. This guy definitely has some skills. His bank off the glass in the second quarter was a thing of beauty, and he's snared some big rebounds. I think we may have something after all.
Jury's still out on this kid, but I like that he's starting to get more comfortable in the second unit. Half of being an NBA player is confidence and maybe he finally has a shot at getting some. Go Meyers, go.
I've been saying since last season, Meyers is not a center, he's a PF and he looked good with Lopez or Freeland at the 5.
He must have had a hell of a practice against Robinson because he's bringing it the last two games. Most thought he'd be sent to Idaho
It great to see him doing well with his limited time. I'm encouraged. I think he'll continue to improve and become a good player.
Meyers looked WAY less awkward and more comfortable in this game. His defense and rebounding were better than LaMarcus'. I still think he has a future. Still a work in progress, but tonight was encouraging.
Meyers Beiber BLOWS. Breakout game? OMFG. He was a lottery pick, and he cares more about his hair then his game.
The big thing (imho)? He played at PF, instead of C. He played his best minutes with a legit center in the game (Lopez). He looked pretty good, given his average play.
True that. He's playing good next to Lopez it seems (and Freeland). Man Lopez just makes everybody better.
Why don't you go back to the rock you crawled out from under? Mixim, OdenIsGod, OdenIsStillGod - you are one in the same and all three of your pungent personalities are unwelcome here, still.
True, but this game was against the world champions, and Leonard looked poised and confident in a way I haven't seen for a long time.
