I don't like to wear certain numbers just because certain players wear them. I wore #16 back in middle school and in my recent basketball tryouts.Note: I wear 16 because that's the age I fell in love with basketball in. I'm 16 years old currently and I fell in love with basketball only several months ago. So.. Yeah, I wear #16 to represent that age.
Basketball-12 (wasnt my choice..)Football-3 (I dont play football anymore, and no, I wasnt a kicker I played D-Line, and I got like 5 sacks two years agoBaseball-12Soccer-13Volleyball-16
My number is 42. Elton Brand Baby! But usually I dont care what number I get. I only play basketball.
I always try to wear number 7 (because it is my favorite number...), but sometimes I can't because the basketball team has a set number of jerseys and the numbers go up as size increases. For instance, I had to wear number 35 last year on my eigth grade team because it was a size large.
Basketball: 21 and 30 (Kevin Garnett and Rasheed Wallace), player I am similar to and admireSoccer: 12,19,21
If I had my choice for b-ball it would be 1 or 49, but I don't so in soccer I have 15 and I don't know in basketball because this is the first year I can play sports and b-ball hasn't started yet
I'm noticing alot of people are picking 7, 16, 8 and 9 as the numbers they always get. When I was in high school a couple of years ago, in basketball we couldn't have any of our digits higher than the number 5, you could have like 22, 3, 11, 45 numbers like these, but we wasn't aloud to have 26, 8, 19 or some number like that. Does anyone understand what I am saying? Are the rules different in your areas, or have rules changed in the past 4 years?Anyways, in basketball I was number 22.In football I was number 26,and in baseball I was number 8.I don't know why I picked those numbers, I just got them every year from pee wee and tee ball, to high school and AAU basketball.
