When he shoots a rare mid-range jumper, he really fades back. His low release point is going to hold him back unless he really gets more lift from his legs or changes his form.
Sanders is available but the Bucks are having trouble finding interest around the league. Sounds like he could be had relatively cheaply, would you risk bringing in such a knucklehead?
Too bad we can't do something like this: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=m27q8b8 Bucks get DWright, Mo, Meyers and Claver. Brooklyn gets Freeland and Barton. Portland gets Luke Ridnour, AK47 and Sanders.
Ya it's not a very good trade. I do think Zaza would be a fantastic backup center though. He just might be the only back to the basket center in the NBA nowadays.
You would have to be extremely creative, plus needing a third team. Pretty much impossible to organize.
What's the point of going after Sanders when Asik is available? I know the guy has been discussed at length, but he's a shot blocker and a great help defender. I'd rather go after Asik if we're going to make a trade for a big man.
It's actually quite easy to do (and I think I have posted this before) http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=mu3uxzd
Substitute Barton for Crabbe and I'd have to at least consider that. Sanders is young like Leonard so giving up on Meyer's potential is offset by Sanders potential. The down side is, you get some of his 'quirkiness'. I'm not up an all of the issues that he's had. Can someone specify?
