The cult of Lloyd Irvin exposed following rape trial, the past comes back to ruin him Hard to summarize the nightmare year Lloyd Irvin had in 2013, but it begins with two of his students being arrested for rape which led to Irvin's own decades old gang rape case being brought to light (Irvin's successful defence was that he wanted to participate but couldn't get it up), his affiliate schools disbanding, an exposé in the Miami New Times detailing the cult-like atmosphere of his schools and business schemes, former students accusing him of seduction and coercion, Irvin purchasing a website "lloydirvinrape.com" in an attempt to direct his own negative press towards his self defence seminars, and finally his most esteemed students and black belts including UFC Champion Dominick Cruz cutting ties with him. Holy shit.
Wasn't sure whether to include Irvin in this list. Clearly he goes way beyond the dick moves we're talking about with the other, otherwise well intentioned people.
