I don't know if things have changed, but following his OV I read a quote from Budda saying if he went to Oregon he would start off playing offense. Between him and Tony James I'd think the TZR spot is good going forward STOMP
Say, wasn't a Cal LB on his way to transfering out of Cal and going to Oregon? Ragin was his name was it? And whats the word on Eric Lauderdale?
JR teetered between 3-4* status on rivals and he played in one of the AA games. The Ducks offered him late in the process after some of their earlier LB targets fell through but he stuck with Cal who offered him early on. He grew up a Duck fan and attended quite a few of their games his Jr & Sr year... he also had a really high GPA in HS iirc. He's from Wilsonville Or STOMP
So he's coming over to play for the ducks then. Was he a Redshirt at Cal or a True Frosh? And, any word on Recruits or visits now that the Bowl has been taken care of? And any in mind from Texas recruits?
Ragin played this just completed season as a true Freshman Duck verbals Jalen Brown & Aarion Springs have tweeted out that Duck fans should expect something to be revealed on Friday. Kansas LB Jimmie Swain will be announcing Sunday. Texas DT Trey Lealaimatafao will take a final OV to Eugene this month STOMP
I see, and the word on Eric Lauderdale? We have a good shot at him or is he getting homesick of the Southeast?
according to his Rivals profile he is visiting 01/24. In previous Coaching regimes, visits that late were a decent percentage of commits.
with Baker and Brown being added, the Duck's cupboards seem to be overflowing with WR prospects. I'm all for a kid being confident in his abilities, but a realistic JC prospect looking at the Duck WR depth chart knows he'll have his work cut out for him. that said, I'd love to have a 2nd helping of Nacho STOMP
Nacho or Lauderdale would be good. Although Lauderdale would help right away being a JC kid. And he would have a Heisman favorite throwing his way. Plus Nacho seems to be corrupted by Kevin Sumlin at the moment. Use the "I made Mike Evans a 1st Rounder. I can make you one too!" analogy. Plus he lives in Houston
in a recent interview he noted what state 2 of Oregon's starting WRs hail from. I'm hearing the TAMU rumors too... honestly my best guess is that Oregon doesn't sign another WR outside of Baker & Brown STOMP
one further note on the WR depth chart... not that rivals ratings are infallible, but if the Ducks do land both Baker and Brown then 6 of the last 7 receivers they've added will have been on their final top 250 lists with the lone exception being Chance Allen STOMP
I'm pretty much convinced Nacho is going to TAMU, thanks to Speedy Noil and that Arizona QB going to College Station. Whats the word on Randall Cunningham? We offer him yet?
