After looking over the schedule I think it's close. I have use losing: January = 4 Feb = 3 March = 4 April = 2 If that actually comes to pass, then that puts us at 62-20. Of course I imagine there'll be a handful of games where we completely fail to compete, or our shot just isn't falling, which could add another 5ish games to the loss column. And if the league ever learns that all they need to do is keep us off the 3-point line then that could put us into a spell of .500 basketball.
I am thinking 56-58 win range defense is just not good enough right now to give up 105 each night and keep winning at such a high clip.
But we've won most of the "tough" games all season. 7-2 against teams with 20 wins. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Really? I hope this is just complete illogical homerism and your not serious. Those "clowns" have gone to the finals the last 2 years, We have not even won a playoff series in 14 years. Man oh man some of you are way over board and need to pump the breaks. If they don't make a trade it could very easily be 1 and done with about 55 wins. There's no shame in that either. (At least with this current roster there's no shame)
QFT and Repped In reading this thread, I am also surprised how many want to limit the achievements to date, and even further reduce the ability to attain further success. Not to be an ass, but to continue to answer with some trite bull shit like "they need to worry about their next game" is in my opinion pure avoidance. I am disappointed in how many want to be the "hero" that predicted the melt down...good grief.. 60 games is a fine regular season goal..Western Finals would be a fantastic post season..BUT ..I am not going to limit my thinking on haw far these guys can go.
I predicted 55 wins at pre-season. We are playing above my expectations. I think we win 64 games this year.
Nope, just explaining your argument is seriously flawed. You are comparing lotto teams to contenders. So when a contending team isn't beating other contending teams, then their power ranking goes down. The let down games are just that... A let down... So how about you compare apples to apples instead of oranges?
Well I'm sure if you ask any of the contending coaches and they would tell you that wins against contending teams is very important.
Wins period are important. Does no good to beat all the contending teams and then lose to everyone else
Well that's great because we lead the league in wins, plus we haven't really had any "let down" games. So let me ask you again... Since teams like the Heat, OKC, Spurs, Clippers and Indiana have lost many "let down" games, then we are in a better position right? I mean we are taking care of the teams we are supposed to beat and we are above .500 on the teams that could go either way. Not to mention we lead the league in road wins to boot.
The difference is, Toronto beat OKC in OKC. And beat Dallas, in Dallas. Phoenix, Minnesota and New Orleans were all losses on the road.
