Do you think he would of thrived in Stotts system?

I don't know. Didn't Rudy go to the Mavericks when Carlisle was coach and Stotts was the asst coach?

Yes if he hadn't already been ruined by Nate and Ariza.

    Yes, as evidenced by Batum.

No. Never played a game for the Mavs before he was traded to the Nuggets.

replacing Mo and Wright with Rudy and Sergio would be...interesting. Our defense, though seemingly impossible, would be worse. I have a hard time thinking they'd shoot worse than the current 39%.

After Ariza cheap shot hin and he hurt his back Rudy was never the same. A long shot is done with the legs and back. But the old Rudy would have done quite well in Stott's system.

How so? Rudy already played in a Stotts like system?

If Patty is becoming a good player in San Antonio, then Sergio, who was better, belongs in the NBA.

    This is exactly it.

Rudy was never the same player after that cheap shot from Ariza. Completely changed him. He also had back problems from that.

Yeah, Rudy didn't do shit for Dallas. 0 ppg, 0 RPG, 0 apg and never made a single 3-pointer. No wonder they traded his ass!

He thrived so well in their system that they not only traded him, they traded him PLUS Corey Brewer for a 2nd round pick.
