    He wasn't a ballhog. He had no-one to pass to. I hope he stays aggressive!

    <span style="font-family:Book Antiqua">Interesting. I actually got in an argument with my teacher about whether or not Kobe is a ballhog. She claimed that he's a ballhog because he didn't average more than 4 assists. I replied, "Well, he's a SG. 4 apg is pretty good for a SG. PGs are the ones who should average more than 4." She just wouldn't listen, though...</span>

    This will be grat for the Lakers. Smush and Odom are going to come out. Kobe he can dominate at anytime right now he wants to make the players around him better and thats what a leader should be ding to a young team.

    He definitely wasn't a ballhog, when you have nobody you can really depend on when you pass the ball.Anybody who calls Kobe Bryant a ballhog, I will personally slaughter their first born, bible style.

    Just because Bryant will be looking to pass more doesn't mean Odom will score much more. Odom is a better ball-passer than Bryant, and a lot of the time Odom needs to be set-up.Like clangus said, I hope he is still aggressive and averages 27-30 PPG.

    who does kobe really have to pass to though? no one else on the lakers is really a scorer, kwame could come out this year and score but he is not really a post up and score guy. I mean he is but he isnt really that good at it. only way he could get more assists if he passed off the ball instead of finishing himself all kobe style at the basket
