And, the pick was top 55 protected! So, Rudy plus Corey Brewer for one of the last 5 picks in the second round. No wonder Rudy doesn't want to play in the NBA anymore. He's embarrassed.

You're getting too old BB . . . just turn it up and enjoy the music with a few Rudy highlights mixed in. :)

I must be. All I could see was blurred out footage, skipping and lagging, and random flashes and rays of light. I think there were some Rudy clips in there, but I couldn't make them out. At first I thought it was my computer. I'll make an eye appointment first thing tomorrow.

Not your eyes. Here is something short and sweet (and no weird black and white at the beginning)

    That was fun.

    Rudy was fun.

    Nate didn't like fun.

pre-Ariza Rudy was great. In fantasy land that guy would easily be the best player on Portland's current bench. Stotts + no ball hog (Roy was great but he was a ball hog) would have benefited RF's game too

Rudy would be good for an and 1 league but his terrible defense and need to take 4 to 5 of the ugliest shots in history a night would drive any NBA fan nuts.

His spinning falling down turnaround jumper in traffic is the stuff of Brain Boitano's nightmares.

    http://hoopshype.com/blogs/sierra/nba-knocking-on-rudy-fernandezs-door-again

Last weekend, European powerhouse Real Madrid won the Spanish Cup, the ACB's mid-season tournament, with a last-second shot by Rockets draftee Sergio Llull in the final vs. arch rival Barcelona. It was the 37th win in 38 games for Real Madrid, who's not just dismantling opponents in a weakened ACB but also in the Euroleague.

The fantastic run may have a downside for Real, though. The strong play of the team's stars has not gone unnoticed in the NBA. With Nikola Mirotic, the tournament MVP, already widely presumed to be leaving for Chicago next season, now comes news of renewed interest in Rudy Fernandez from the States, with Oklahoma City being one of the teams inquiring about his contract situation, according to a source.

Fernandez's deal with Real Madrid calls for him to make slightly above $4 million in 2014-15, when his contract comes to an end, so he'd probably be looking for mid-level exception money to consider an early return to the NBA.

Fernandez averaged 9.1 ppg and 2.2 apg in four years in the league with Portland and Denver.

Ariza ruined Rudy, not Nate. His best NBA season was his rookie year.

If he would have let it heal the first time instead of trying to come back too soon, I think he'd still be here. On the other hand, if he had worked on getting even a little bit bigger and stronger, he probably wouldn't have been hurt so badly in the first place.

One of my least favorite Blazers ever.

And does anyone actually think this was a dirty or even hard foul?

He didn't even hit the ground hard. Blaming a guy sucking on that is just a lame excuse.

It was a reckless foul, and he landed really awkwardly. Players who "suck" don't set rookie 3 point records.

Rudy would have been wonderful in this offense, because so much of it is moving without the ball, getting to the right spot to receive it and then quickly shooting it.
