Dennis Rodman has named a team of former NBA players to play an exhibition basketball game in Pyongyang, North Korea.

Rodman will lead the team that includes former NBA All-Stars Kenny Anderson, Cliff Robinson, and Vin Baker. Craig Hodges, Doug Christie and Charles D. Smith are on the team, as well. They will play against a top North Korean senior national team on Wednesday, marking Kim Jong Un's birthday.

Rodman is the highest profile American to meet Kim since the leader inherited power from his father in late 2011.

Rodman calls the game his version of "basketball diplomacy."

If they're picking ex-blazers, it should have been Shawn Kemp, JR Rider, Bonzi Wells...

I'm thinking North Korea must have some good weed, if these are the players Rodman is gathering.

I'm just guessing they'll start the game with that "Who Let the Dogs Out..boom, boomboomboom boom" And that the winner of the contest will eat the dogs that ate the uncle

In North Korea, I hear the woman will drug you then steal your organs for the black market.

    Well, should be interesting.

IMO, anyone has the right to travel wherever they please. Maybe not my first choice destination. Maybe someone wants to protest (their right). But if they want to play basketball in uncomfortable circumstances, go ahead. I've got much bigger headaches, frankly.

WOW! Is Rodman channelling Idi Amin? LOL

That incoherent rambling was strange even for Rodman. It was like a WWF pro wrestling audition.

They must have some bad ass drugs in N. Korea.

Yes, I'm going with 'completely crazy'.

I know right? Now watch the video again and instead of looking at Rodman watch the other guys reactions in the backgrounds, you can literally read "what the fuck have I gotten myself into?" on every one of their faces.

Edit: I can't stop watching this video and laughing. Uncle Cliffys look of concern when they pan out and the guy in the far left back with his mouth wide open in shock are just to much!

Holy crap, that video if crazy, Rodman is literally insane. Batshit crazy. Wow, seems like bad art.

And yes, the others are all looking around like they just realized they fucked up.

I didn't realize some people were upset that some basketball players are trying to help out some of the oppressed in N. Korea and possibly help thaw relations between our countrys. I guess some people can't be happy unless we are killing everyone we don't agree with. Weird.

But yeah: Rodman is certifiable. He and Kim Jong Un are quite a pair.

Charles Smith should do all the talking from now on.

Hey, for all we know, Rodman is deep cover CIA and he's there to assassinate that nut job. Kind of the reverse Manchurian Candidate! Now that would be sweet. ;)

I wonder how Rodman sold those guys on the trip? The Best Korea can't be offering them that much money to come.
