    agree'd, credit where credit is due. Kobe may be an ass but he at least respects other talents in the NBA. He's smart enough to say the right thing, and he's also smart enough to know that it wont matter as Kobe kids will vote for him anyway.

    To me it sounds like he'd still play if he's healthy and voted in. Simply telling people they should vote for Lillard and knowing full well that won't happen doesn't deserve kudos.

    If he were to come out and say he won't play and take a roster spot regardless because he doesn't deserve it, then I'd give him kudos.
