This is my predictions on who the starters will be MOST of the time..Im sure Frat will tweak the lineup b4 midseasonPG-Damon StoudamireSG-Eddie JonesSF-Rudy GayPF-Hakim Warrick/Lawrence Roberts*C-Pau Gasol**when pau gets back from injury, untill then it will be Stro at 5 and because at 4.What do you think?
I think playing Gasol at center is a mistake but if it worked for Diaw I guess it could work for Gasol.
Gasol played center most the time last year and did better...just started PF, but when Miller came in Battier moved to 4 and Pau moved to center for most of the game.
Eddie is garunteed a starting spot cause if his defense...since Battier left, hes our best defender. Also, Miller can prodcue more on the bench than Eddie can.
To start the season, with no Gasol obviously, I think this should be the lineup: C: Jake Tsakalidis PF: Stromile Swift SF: Mike Miller SG: Eddie Jones PG: Damon Stoudamire Damn, that is such a weak frontline. Anyway, I don't think Warrick will start just yet, I think he will be a good energy guy off the bench. As for Rudy Gay, I don't think Fratello is going to throw him in there over Mike Miller right away. Miller has proven himself as a good NBA player, and he will start IMO. Why? Because he is their best scoring option with Gasol out.

It actually wouldnt surprise me if Rudy started over Miller, with Miller in same role he was last year as off bench scoring. Frat and JW think very very highly of Rudy.
I can see Rudy starting too just to bring Mike Miller's scoring off the bench. The only other scoring option off the bench would be Atkins and no one really knows what Gay can do yet. He's been looking good in preseason, but it's just preseason.
