I forgot all about Ronnie Price! I actually really like Ronnie. He had a bum ankle most of last season but was our first bench player to score 12 pts last year.

I picked up on it. I just don't find sports jokes referencing crippling injuries funny any more. It will forever be too soon.

So you're saying you are far more cynical? lol I'm not sure that sucking chest wounds and open gashes made with sharp objects are representative of sports injuries though.

Everyone on this board is far more cynical than you. Even mags. And THAT is saying something. :D

And no, sports injuries are generally less bloody than the black knight, but the whole "I'm ok! I can still play! No seriously, this time they cleaned out all of that problematic scar tissue! Bones grow back stronger after they break!" thing does seem to fit the metaphor surprisingly well.

I did not know that. I think Mags is way more optimistic. I only believed the Blazers were and are a guaranteed playoff team, no more, no less. He was and still is more optimistic than me. And that's OK. We're both on the right side of the Blazer fan line.

I guess all I can do is shake my head at the "Blazer fan" that says this is their team "team" yet they can't help but verbally abuse them.

Here's a reason the assist stat is not an end-all of passing ability---Dame got nothing for that pass where he drew a double and made a great pass to a cutter who just got fouled, followed by a pass to Nic who could've taken it by himself but gave it up to LMA.

So Dame has made 2 "scoring plays" happen, and has 0 assists.

I love when they move LA to the right corner of the key. Teams are like, "What is he doing over there?" Buckets. lol

This is a relatively new lineup. Lillard/Mo/Wes/LMA/Lopez had only played 11 minutes this year.

And now Freeland is in for Lopez.
